Elden Ring: Technical comparison, old and new generation
It is not often a game arouses such a wait, and even less often than a game manages to fill it. But Elden Ring did it. Our good virgil was not the last to say it in a lyricism that only the heads inspire: the latest opus of fromSoftware is not only the sum of the previous iterations of a formula, it is a Combining, the result of a philosophy of game design refined with obsession, until the extreme. But if the studio's way to pursue its playful and artistic ideals, game after play, arouses admiration for years, it is not the same with regard to the technique, on which its productions do not have never fully satisfied. And even the next generation consoles are not enough to completely hunt these old demons.
