PS4 and PS5: Sony builds the Game Trial

Sony has introduced Game Trials a few days ago, the players select selected titles before buying. The program launched in the United Kingdom and Canada first included games like the Death Stranding Director s Cut and Sackboy: A Big Adventure . In the Linked message you will find the links to the corresponding product entries.

Meanwhile, another game was added. Thus, the developers of Biomutant make aware that their game is now available as a trial version for download.

Five hours free play time

In Tweet, it states that you play Biomutant thanks to the trial for five hours and check the PostApokalyptic world of the title as to whether you would like to continue after completing the free season.

Biomutant is part of Sony s @playstation Game Trials! IF You re in The Uk or Canada, You Can Download The Game Right Now.

But also with Biomutant Sony relies on a pretty curious regulation. So it says in the description of the trial that the playing time of five hours then starts when you start the download or pack the trial into the library.

However, it is pleasing that your score is not lost, because:

Stored game data and trophies are transferred to the full version of the game when bought.

It should also be noted that the game extensions or DLCs (eg virtual currency) acquired during the testing phase can only be used with the full version of a game if they were acquired.

The product entry to the trial of Biomutant in the UK Store can be found here .

In the German Playstation Store, the most recent trials were apparently not introduced yet. However, the publications in the United Kingdom and Canada seem to be a test run, so it would be no surprise if the allotments would soon be conquered the German market. Many years ago, demos and trials counted the standard before public betas and influencers caused a decline.

What do you think about Demos? Would you rather make your purchase decision dependent on an allogue version?
