War MMO on Steam gets huge update and battles with up to 3000 players

With an update, the Steam MMO Foxhole is properly expanded. These include a MAP extension and much larger battles. Meinmmo introduces you the military game.

What is Foxhole? The War MMO puts you as a soldier in a fictitious, persistent game world. In this world, a war ranged, which is based on World War II. You decide to whatever side you want to stand and take part in big slaughter. So you are a soldier in a huge army.

Is played from the ISO perspective. You control your heroes of obliquely up. This will give it the necessary overview to keep your environment well in mind. As a soldier you are relatively free in how you go in the game world. In Foxhole you follow one of two factions and fights against the other, enemy army. Persistent game world - now with up to 3000 players

What does that mean? In Foxhole, you act as a soldier from an army in the persistent world, do not direct several units of soldiers or vehicles as in RTS games.

Persistent means here that the game world consists as long as the war lasts and changed over time. Your game figure remains in this world - even if you log out.

Already released in 2017, with up to 500 simultaneous players on a map, there was a big player number and battles. With the latest update, however, this number was now six-sighted and the map is increased by 60%.

Foxhole gets good on Steam

How is the War MMO rated? The ratings on Steam are quite good. Since the 2017 release, around 16,000 ratings have been received, of which 82% are positive. There were around 700 ratings in the last 30 days and these even come to 87% positive. (via steampowered.com)

Especially the dense atmosphere of the game is praised. The meaning of teamwork is also highlighted and the intensity of bulk battles is positive at numerous players.

It is praised that you can not simply shoot themselves blindly through each fight, but apply tactics and pay attention to resources.

Apparently, Foxhole has a problem with the reporting function, because numerous players report that their account has been blocked after clans have reported them mass. Apparently the function is abused to get rid of opposing players.

Some players also criticize that they had problems with cheaters. However, how much this problem is really, you can not really pull from the reviews.
