There were more than a few of them.

Leave alive

Nobody expected Left Alive would be a spectacular game, but before it came out, there were many who had expected it at least that it would be good. With his focus on Stealth action and storytelling and Yoji Shinkawa's art to support everything, it looked as if we were closest to a new Metal Gear Solid (Ish) game. What we got could not have removed from it. LEFT ALIVE was broken, boring and boring, and although there was no widespread pre-launch hype for that - due to the fact that it was by no means a great publication - it was still disappointing, its potential (or whatever ) To see looked like potential before the start) wasted as follows.

generation zero

With Generation Zero, Avalanche software pursued a completely different approach than Just Cause and offered an open world that was not chaotic and exaggerated, but grim and sound. And although the environment, the premise and mechanical opponents on paper were quite interesting concepts, the game itself was not very entertaining. Generation Zero was by no means a bad game - it was perfectly functioning in many ways - but it was absolutely unforgettable.

FIFA 20

The FIFA community has been upset for several years over the annual franchise of EA and that achieved a highlight with FIFA 20. Although Volta served as a novel new addition to the game, the improvements in the playing field on the best and large were at best minimal. And the changes that EA Sports has made were poorly absorbed by many. The worst thing is that the career mode is still boring and outdated and it is high time that EA Sports treats him as more than a formality.

EFOOTBALL PES 2020

While FIFA experienced heights and deeply in recent years, Konami's PES games were better from year to year, and although PES 2020 was still a solid entry and an excellent title in football simulation was much to do being desirable. In the Master League, there were virtually no significant improvements. 2019 was another year in which the mode was a great disappointment. Apart from that, most changes proved to be just cosmetic. As already mentioned, PES 2020 is still a great football simulation title due to its strong core, but it is not the essential improvement over PES 2019, which had hoped for many.

ANTHEM

Bioware suffered in 2017 with Mass Effect: Andromeda a great fall, but when we entered in 2019, there were many who had the feeling that they would buy back with Anthem. What happened in the end was the exact opposite of it - Anthem was an even greater disappointment than Andromeda, and Bioware grub deeper into a hole. Although the aircraft mechanics was excellent, the game did not make sense, while boring and repetitive missions, some technical problems and a disappointing story (to name only a few) contributed to make Anthem to one of them the so far worst games of Bioware .

Crackdown 3

Over the years, Crackdown 3 was delayed again and again while Microsoft promised how the power of cloud would drive his multiplayer into the stratosphere and how this was a franchise had the potential to sit with Halo and Gears at the top . But Crackdown 3 is not a game that was in development as long as it was. It is boring and outdated, in the best case mild (and rare) pleasant and in the worst case nerve-wracking (and usually) boring and boring. The multiplayer mode is a great disappointment. To hell, also Terry Crews could not preserve Crackdown 3 in front of being an aggressive mediocre game.

Sniper Ghost Warrior contracts

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is by no means a bad game - the actual sniping is still fun, and the freedom that offers the game should not be ignored at the moment you start a mission. Although the game has a strong foundation, the structure built on this foundation is weak at best. Too often, they are forced by missions from the hidden, which ruined most of the game while the mission targets themselves repeat themselves pretty much and lose weight after a while. Contracts are also subject to paralyzing errors and technical problems that often affect the gaming experience. Here, there is certainly a great potential that can be realized in a continuation (or even in contracts even if the support is given after the start), but now we can not be different than being disappointed with the package offered.

Ancestors: Man Odyssey

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey came from an indie studio directed by the Creator of Assassin's Creed, and certainly had many talents behind him, while his unique concept also pulled the attention of many. And while satisfaction and joy can be found here, if you can invest enough time in the game, there are far too many mistakes to ignore them. Ancestors can sometimes be unnecessarily dense and dull, and the entire experience can - mostly - due to their lengthy game and their repeating structure (especially in the first hours) a bit boring. It is a good idea that the developers of Panache Digital can achieve even greater heights (and hopefully), but in here and now Ancestor will not meet his unique premise.

WWE 2K20

Nobody expects spectacular WWE games, but at least we expect that they are moderately good and fun. And we expect you to work. WWE 2K20 does not even activate one of these boxes. The series has since 2K in a downward spiral and 2K20 is the absolute low point. It is a terribly broken, messy mess, as it should not run the half time. If it works, all gamingplay problems of its predecessors are fixed and no significant improvements made. And the bitter cherry on this shitty ice cream cup - it looks like a game of early 7th generation. Yes, somehow it looks worse than WWE 2K19, which looks quite average.

The falling city

Before the start, The Sinking City looked out with its fascinating premise, Lovecraft-inspired history and its compensation RPG mechanics as another excellent AA title. And although his central secret and his Lovecraft aesthetics were actually highlights of experience, problems in other areas impaired the total quality. The declining city suffers from technical problems, average graphics and chunky fighting, while the city of Oakmont feels hollow and boring. It certainly holds the promise of a fascinating story, but it also requires you to take a lot of sloppiness to get to the good things.

Contra: Rogue Corps

Contra is one of the most legendary concessions of the game industry, a proud bastion of the golden retro age of video games. Konami has set itself the task of clouding this heritage with an absolutely horrendous game. The Rogue Corps ignores all about what Contra, Contra makes. Terrible graphics, performance problems, a terrible mechanics for overheating weapons neutralizing the struggle, and not intuitive control are just a few of the main problems of this game. Konami destroyed Silent Hill by joining PT. By making Metal Gear Survive, you have ruined Metal Gear. Now you have ruined with Rogue Corps Contra. We hope that they stay far away from Castlevania.

Days went

Days Gone was an important step towards things that Sony Worldwide Studios have published this generation. That does not mean that there is nothing to like here - the history, the performances of the actors, the systemic character of the open world are things that make this game to an excellent game. However, there are also problems that must not be ignored, including an approach to figures for the open World design, countless error and technical problems, and a general lack of polish. Is Days Gone in the end? Yes, it is. But is it as good as it should have been, and we expected it? Sadly no.

Wolfenstein: Jungblut

The revival of the Wolfenstein franchise by MachineGames was a glorious testimony. Before she continued the New Colossus with a decent sequel this year, she gave us a small gap for chewing - and decided to experiment with it. Most of these experiments did not work out. The further development and the prey mechanics have completely neutralized the struggle, while the decision of YoungBlood, structuring more open, rather than how his predecessors have a fully steered experience, also proven to be bad. The worst thing was the lack of focusing of the game on telling and telling stories, which had been an essential element in the New Order and the New Colossus. Hopefully, Wolfenstein 3, if arriving, is more similar to the numbered games than this disappointing spinoff.

WUT 2

A continuation of Rage 2010 was an exciting view, since ID software (and co-developer of Avalanche) would finally have the opportunity to use the unused potential of the first game. And while Rage 2 has certainly resolved some core problems of its predecessor - with its seamless open-world design and a much more vibrant and colorful look - it was a pretty unforgettable experience at the end of the day. The core of Rage 2 - his fight - is absolutely spectacular. The problem is that anything but the fight - the terrible story, the mild open world, the repeating secondary objectives, the disappointing short duration of the campaign - is a huge disappointment.

The most disappointing game of Gamingbolt in 2019:

ANTHEM

There is a degree of quality that is expected from Bioware games (or anyway expects), and Anthem is far below this benchmark. In addition, the game is in a large identity crisis. It is not known if it should be a looter or a role-playing game. Because of this confusion, it is bad in both things. A bad story, an uninteresting (and broken) prey, a lack of content, a litani of technical problems, repeating and boring missions and the worst of everything that was almost completely ignored by Bioware and EA since the start - to the extent As the game Roadmap has been completely set (after delayed). These are all factors that have helped that Anthem has become one of the most famous AAA errors for years.

In the early development phase, Bioware internally called Dylan Anthem, because they wanted to do something that had just as much impact on games like Bob Dylan on the music. In retrospect, it looks depressing and urkay at the same time, because Anthem is not the Bob Dylan of video games. It is barely the Justin Bieber from video games.
