Xbox Game Pass: Closed Stores feel through subscription
In a new interview with Gamesradar, Xbox boss Phil Spencer openly spoke to the Xbox Game Pass Subro service on as many platforms as possible via its desire to offer the Xbox Game Pass ABO service.
When asked if it is possible to publish the Xbox Game Pass in any form in the stores of the competitors, he said that this was not planned, but not because of the lack of interest from Microsoft, but that the operators of their closed stores are not want to be "disturbed" by the Xbox Game Pass.
"You know, that's the right question, because people normally ask me if I will publish this or that game. And what I say is that I want the complete Xbox experience something we deliver. At the moment we have no plans, [the Xbox app] to bring to other closed platforms, especially because these closed platforms do not want something like Xbox Game Pass. There are a lot of open platforms on which we can grow: Web, PC and Mobile. Our full focus is, openly said, on these platforms. "
"This is not a blow to all the others who have a system that works for them. I can understand why they do not want the 'fault' by Game Pass at the moment. When we say that we want everyone to play on the Xbox, we really mean that we can bring the full experience to a device that the players want. "
