Pokémon Diamond and Pearl compared to remakes

Pokémon recently confirmed the next Diamond Pokémon and Pearl remill during a present Pokémon and the community is divided. Brilliant Pokémon Diamond and Shining Pearl have aroused a controversy with the fans who have not played the originals, but the fans of the DS era knew the chibi approach of graphic design. Pokémon Sword & Shield is currently available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, while Pokémon Diamond and Pearl will arrive later this year.

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl are not manufactured by Game Freak, but instead, they are developed by ILCA, with the director of origin Junichi Masuda supervising production. The YouTube Gamexplain has quickly produced a side-by-side comparison between the original Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Games and Brilliant Diamond Pokémon and Shining Pearl. This visual comparison showed all those who doubt remakes upcoming that the original artistic design is postponed to the Nintendo Switch rather than ILCA adopting an entirely new style, the style let's go, etc.

While Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have discouraged many new fans of Pokémon with his little characters reminiscent of the recent remill of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, it seems that the team remains faithful to the original design. When shown side by side, the brilliant Pokémon Diamond and Shining Pearl images do a great job to show the similarities and differences between the new and the old one.
