Horizon Zero Dawn: That's what the game looks like in 8K with raytracing

Although Horizon Zero Dawn looks fantastic on the PC and PS4, the Digital Dreams team dealt with the game to get the full maximum graphic from the title of Guerrilla Games on the PC. The result is a video in which Horizon Zero Dawn is visible in 8K. In addition, RayTracing effects are represented with reshaden, which is not quite equal to hardware raytracing - but the optical quality is still improved.

To run Horizon Zero Dawn with these settings, also requires a lot of computing power. For the video, an ASUS TUF RTX 3090, 32GB RAM and an AMD Ryzen 9 3900x was used. The game has been available for the PC since August 2020. Before that, the title has been available exclusively to PS4 since 2017. At the moment Guerrilla Games is working on the successor that will be in the trade as Horizon Forbidden West. However, the game was probably moved to 2022. Here, too, a publication is first planned for PS5 and PS4. The makers have not talked about a PC implementation.

But that Sony will also publish further projects for the PC in the future, the acquisition of NIXXES software significantly made last month. The team will mainly take care of the porting of Sony titles. Which title here are next on the plan, however, was not yet revealed. So far, Horizon Zero Dawn (Buy Now 16,12 € / 44.99 €) and Days Gone implemented for the PC, Death Stranding was not developed by Sony, but it was designed for the original PS4 exclusive version but as a publisher.
