Grand Theft Auto V got millions to register at Epic Game Store

Epic Game Store has made a name for offering free titles and getting exclusive games that have angry PC players at all levels. Now, free games and the exclusive content that works or not are still outstanding, but it's hard to deny that Grand Theft Auto V has attracted more than 7 million people to register at Epic Game Store as something else than something else. A huge success.

Civilization 6 was another big batter, but it is pale compared to the massive influx of people that Grand Theft Auto V brought. Really, it's not surprising at all. Grand Theft Auto V is one of the best-selling games of all time and remains incredibly popular. Thus, despite its release in 2013, the EPIC Game Store was able to attract more than 7 million new users.

The EPIC Game Store has been the subject of a controversy since its launch. PC players were not used to using a certain store to get the games they wanted. For console players, it does not look like anything because it is enough to download a new application instead of buying a brand new console if there is an exclusivity you want to play.

I will not lie; I firmly in the camp that simply does not care about the EPIC Game Store. This does not destroy the games on PC, and have to download a new app to get a free game or an exclusivity that interests me does not just bother me. I also use GOG, which allows all my PC library to work independently of where I get games.

The frustration of a new store is exaggerated. I do not prefer Epic Game Store because it's pretty dull because a showcase lacks many features of Steam, but it's good for occasional download.
